Step-Parenting

**update**the below is a very difficult blended family issue that my husband and I are dealing head on with. If you are in a step-parenting position you know also that it comes with many challenges. My husband and I both believe that with God all things are possible. So even though right now, we dont see eye t0 eye on our 'blended' family, I have given this too to my Lord...Continue to pray for us!

In counseling, Darren and I decided our next major topic would be step-parenting. We both told Dr. Vu that it is a very intense and emotional subject for us and everything we even approach the situation it leads to arguments. The girls are at our house this week and Darren just called to tell me that they called him and said there are bored and wanted to go home tonight. I think that with him feeling sorry for them and guilty it just adds fuel to the fire. We are never going to become a family if we don't stop the little lies and betrayal to each other. DeAntre had called me earlier because Tiffani had taken his laptop out of his room while he was in school. I don't know what to do. They are basically going to go home with their mother and live their 'so fun' life and when they decide to come back to our 'boring' house it would be starting over all over again. This stuff is hard.
